Feedback on the picture, not in email
On DroneLink, you review drone photos and video where they live. Pin a comment on the exact spot, choose the shots you want from the set, see each version and approve it, with everyone who has a say on the same page.
Why review by email breaks
Feedback on images is spatial. "Remove the car" is clear only when you know which car. "Brighten the left side" depends on whose left. By email, people describe locations in words, attach screenshots with circles drawn on them, and reply to an older thread than the one the editor is working from.
Then there are the people. On a listing, the seller wants the garden shot, the agent wants the view, and the brokerage's marketing lead wants a vertical for social. On a development, the architect, the developer and the sales team each see a different problem in the same frame. If each person sends notes separately, the editor gets contradictions and nobody knows which one won.
Review and approval on the DroneLink project record is live today. It puts every comment on the image itself, shows everyone the same thread, and records who approved which version.

A review, start to finish
The proof set arrives
After the flight, you get a link to the proof set on your project record: the full set of candidate photos, or a video cut, ready to review.
Choose your shots
Mark the frames you want, the way an architect picks camera views for renderings. Your selects become the edit list, so nobody edits frames you will not use.
Pin comments on the image
Click the spot and type the note: the bin to remove, the sky to replace, the lawn to tidy. For video, comment at the moment in the timeline.
Invite the others
Add the seller, the realtor, the developer or the marketing team. They see the same set, the same comments and the same selects.
Compare versions
Revised images come back as new versions of the same file. Check what changed against the comment that asked for it.
Approve
The person with final say approves. The approval is recorded with the version, and final files are delivered by link.

The review mistakes we see most

Too many decision-makers
Four people approve, and the fourth reverses the first three.
Edits to shots nobody wanted
Time goes into retouching frames that never get used.
The wrong version goes live
An early export gets downloaded and posted.

How to give feedback editors can act on
- Pin the comment on the thing, then say what you want, not just what is wrong: "remove the hose", not "messy".
- One change per comment, so each can be marked done.
- Say whether it is a must or a preference.
- Check that a request is an edit, not a reshoot. Weather, light and season are hard to change in editing without misleading buyers.
- Know your board's or regulator's rules on image editing in listings. Removing permanent features or misrepresenting a property can breach real estate advertising rules.
- Approve once, in one place. Late notes by text restart the loop.
- Keep the record. The approved versions, comments and dates stay on the project, which helps when a question comes up months later about what was shown.

Questions
How do I give feedback on drone photos?
Open the proof set on your project record, click the spot on the image and write your note. Everyone invited sees the comment in context, and the editor marks it done in the next version.
Can I choose which drone photos I want?
Yes. You choose selects from the full proof set, and those become the edit list. It works like picking camera views: you decide the frames, then the finishing work goes into those.
Can my realtor and I both review the photos?
Yes. Invite both to the project. Agree who approves; usually the agent approves and the seller comments.
How many rounds of revisions do drone photos include?
It depends on the order, so check your estimate. Edits that need a new flight, such as a different time of day, are a reshoot rather than a revision.
Can I comment on a drone video at a specific moment?
Yes. Comments on video are pinned to a point in the timeline, so the editor sees exactly which shot you mean.
Can you remove objects from real estate photos?
Temporary items such as cars, bins and hoses are commonly removed. Removing or altering permanent features can mislead buyers and may breach real estate advertising rules, so check with your brokerage.
Where do the final approved files go?
They are delivered by link on the same project record, with the approval recorded against the version.
